Front-end engineer

A front-end web developer is a software engineer who implements web designs through coding languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A front-end developer has one general responsibility: to ensure that users can easily interact with a website or an app. If you head to any website or app, you can see the result of their work in the navigation, layouts and visual elements. Simply put, a front-end developer focuses on visitor-facing aspects, as opposed to a back-end developer, who works on the server part of a website or application. There are also full-stack developers, who can do both.

Choose front-end development if you:

  • Are interested in web design.
  • Would like the result of your work to be seen by users.
  • Look for a relatively easy start in development.
  • Would like to secure your future by entering an exciting and promising professional field.
