Course details

This course will help you obtain the necessary theoretical foundation and understand the basic concepts of development. It was created for people who want to learn the fundamentals of IT and gain experience in software development, regardless of whether they have prior IT experience.

Self-paced courses from EPAM are available on the EPAM Learn educational platform. This course consists of theory, hands-on assignments, and knowledge tests. It starts as soon as you register and has no fixed start or end dates. The participants will be able to study the materials at a convenient pace.

To obtain a certificate, students must score 70% or above. Graduates receive the document within 10 business days of successfully passing the course.

Prerequisites

Self-learning and self-discipline skills.
Basic understanding of information technology concepts and software operation.
Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and basic OOP concepts will help master the curriculum more easily.
Experience in development in any programming language will be an additional advantage.

Knowledge Assessment II

The courses found in the second part will become available after the successful completion of the knowledge assessment in the Knowledge Assessment module. Access to this assessment will be granted after completing 70% of the front-end practical tasks.

You won't gain access to the courses in the second part until you have successfully passed the knowledge assessment. The passing score for the test is 50%.

You will have two attempts to pass the exam. If you fail the knowledge assessment twice, you'll get another attempt after some time. Student progress is reset twice a month, on the first and third Fridays.
